Terms & Conditions

Tequila Holidays (Pvt) Ltd

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, stays, and services provided by Tequila Holidays (Pvt) Ltd through our website, direct communication, or third-party platforms such as Airbnb and other Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).

By making a booking or staying at any property managed by Tequila Holidays, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Full or partial payment may be required in advance to secure a reservation.
  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transfer costs must be borne by the guest.
Tequila Holidays reserves the right to cancel or refuse any booking if payment terms are not met.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation policies vary by property and booking channel.
  • The applicable cancellation policy will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
  • Non-refundable bookings are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to personal reasons, flight cancellations, illness, weather conditions, or force majeure events.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within a reasonable time frame and may be subject to administrative or banking charges.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Standard check-in and check-out times are specified per property.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Guests must provide valid identification at check-in as required by Sri Lankan law.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

  • Use the property responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
  • Respect neighbours, staff, and local community rules.
  • Avoid excessive noise, parties, or illegal activities.
  • Keep the property and its contents in good condition.

Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required will be charged to the guest.

6. Security Deposits

  • Some properties may require a refundable security deposit.
  • Deposits will be returned after check-out, subject to inspection.
  • Deductions may be made for damages, missing items, or violations of house rules.

7. House Rules

Each property has specific house rules which form part of these Terms & Conditions.

Failure to comply may result in:

  • Immediate termination of stay without refund.
  • Additional charges.
  • Involvement of authorities if required.

8. Maximum Occupancy

  • The maximum number of guests allowed per property must not be exceeded.
  • Unauthorized guests may result in penalties or cancellation of the booking without refund.

9. Liability Disclaimer

  • Tequila Holidays acts as a property management and booking facilitator for villas and apartments.
  • We are not liable for personal injury, illness, accidents, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
  • Guests stay at the property entirely at their own risk.
  • Use of facilities such as swimming pools, balconies, stairs, outdoor areas, or natural surroundings is at the guest’s own responsibility.

10. Force Majeure

Tequila Holidays shall not be held liable for cancellations, disruptions, or damages caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
  • Natural disasters.
  • Extreme weather.
  • Power or water outages.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Pandemics.
  • Civil unrest or acts of God.
No refunds are guaranteed under force majeure conditions unless explicitly stated.

11. Third-Party Bookings

  • Bookings made via Airbnb or other OTAs are subject to both our Terms & Conditions and the platform’s policies.
  • In case of conflict, the stricter policy shall apply.

12. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to ensure accuracy, images, descriptions, and amenities may vary slightly due to maintenance, upgrades, or operational requirements.

Tequila Holidays reserves the right to make changes without prior notice.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Guest information is collected solely for booking and operational purposes and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or booking platforms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking, payment, or staying at any property managed by Tequila Holidays, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
